Ordering from Great River Books

Individual orders: Great River books are available in bookstores and through most internet book outlets. All the books listed here are in print If you wish to order through a bookstore and they do not have the book in stock, you can order for you from us.

To order direct from us: We do not have a secure online order mechanism at this time. If you wish to order directly you can phone us at 801-532-4833 during normal business hours [9 AM - 5 PM Mountain time.] We accept Visa/Mastercard, and will require your card number, expiration date, and billing address (the address to which your credit card bill is mailed). Orders usually ship within 24-48 hours. All information sent to us is kept strictly confidential and is not sold or shared under any circumstances.

If you prefer to order by mail, you can Print out a PDF copy of our Order Form or write us a note including the same information, and send it with your payment or Visa / Mastercard information to the address on the form. Checks should be made to Great River Books.

Sales tax: Utah residents must add 6.6% sales tax.

Shipping charges: We ship by UPS. for reliability and speed, so a street address is required. On individual orders shipped to the contiguous 48 states, please add $5.00 per book for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book shipped at the same time to the same address. For Overnight, 2nd or 3rd Day UPS service we will add applicable charge, or contact us first. If you have only a post office address we can ship by U.S.P.S.

Hawaii and Alaska: Contact us for shipping charges. UPS rates are higher; if time is not an issue we can ship by U.S.P.S.

Bookstores: Great River books may be ordered directly from us, and are also available through major wholesalers including Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and Barnes & Noble. Our primary distributors for national accounts is Midpoint Trade Books.

Booksellers and others with established accounts may order by e-mail, phone or mail. In addition to ordering information, please include an e-mail address to which we may send copies of invoices.

New accounts: New accounts must pre-pay the first order. Contact us about setting up a new account.

Examination & Desk Copies: All requests for teacher's examination copies must be made on official school letterhead. There is a non-returnable handling charge of $5.00 for each book. The handling charge must be paid at the time of the request. We cannot invoice you or your school for examination copies. A single desk copy is available if your school places a verified order for 10 or more copies of a book. Send all requests or queries to info@greatriverbooks.com.

Bookstore Returns: Authorized returns of books in saleable condition are accepted for credit or refund. A restocking charge will be deducted. For authorization and information on where to send returns please contact us. Please supply your customer account number or zipcode, the invoice date and number and quantity of books to be returned. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted for credit or refund.
